The Pentagon Memorial serves as both a reminder and a place of healing for the nation and for those whose lives were reshaped by the events of September 11, 2001.

Central to the film are original interviews with a host of surviving family members who lost loved ones at the Pentagon on 9/11, all interwoven with a stirring narrative designed to tell the highly personal stories of those who sacrificed while offering viewers the broader context in terms of great themes from the American story. The film serves as both a lasting tribute and a means of preserving history for generations to come.

As part of the Official Dedication Ceremonies for the Memorial on September 11, 2008, 20,000 copies of A Nation Remembers were distributed to the invited guests and dignitaries. The program will air on network television in 2009.
